Mini Review Wrap Up (September)

Bleak House by Charles Dickens I will start with the reason for my September TBR being unusually short. This. Book. I could tell you that I found all 800 pages of this book enriching and educational, and that I enjoyed immersing myself in the mysteries of the Chancery and missing children – but I can’t.… Read More Mini Review Wrap Up (September)

Mini Reviews – August Wrap Up

The months mean nothing anymore, here’s what I read: Seven Ways We Lie by Riley Redgate This book was born out of the hype for me, put in the middle of my Christmas book list purely because I had seen it everywhere over the last four years and the vague notion that I would enjoy… Read More Mini Reviews – August Wrap Up

November Wrap Up (2018)

I’m writing this after a nine hour philosophy studying session, so my brain is a bit fried but I thought I could use talking about the books I read this month to wind down! October Wrap Up

October flew by in one snap, and I can’t even pinpoint whether it was a good or bad month. I can barely remember what I did! At least that means there’s no long intro this month! PS: I know this is so, so late, but hey – I’ve been sick! On the mend now, though.… Read More October Wrap Up

July Wrap Up (2018)

July! What a strange month you were. July was the first full month I’ve had away from studying and to say it felt weird is an understatement. I’m sure a lot of you can relate when I say that the guilt and confusion my brain felt when I wasn’t studying or worrying about studying 24/7… Read More July Wrap Up (2018)

June Wrap Up (2018)

June was such a mixture of rock-bottom lows and some of the best moments of my life. My A-Level exams started on the 5th of June through to the 15th, and it was rough. I’m self-taught for health reasons and so there was even more pressure on to do well, and to make sure that I was… Read More June Wrap Up (2018)

About Abby

I’m Abby, an eighteen year-old writer/reader who relies too much on stories in any form, and is unhealthily attached to my black labrador pup, Murphy.

When I’m not crying over fictional characters, you can find me working at the library, learning languages, stressing over my uni courses, and trying (and failing) to bake something partially edible.

I review all genres and age ranges, as well as a few TV shows and movies sprinkled in there occasionally.

Feel free to call me Abby, Abs, AJ, or whatever takes your fancy. And say hi! I’m lonely!
