Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I’d hoped to. I feel like it was aimed at a younger audience than what I’m used to and it just didn’t work for me.
That doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good book because it was. The writing was good and the characters were well done, and I think if I was as engaged as I wanted to be, I would have really enjoyed the plot.
Please don’t let my rating put you off because this was definitely a case of ‘it’s not you, it’s me’.
